County roads Closed
A June 2025 report says Natrona County has not yet enrolled any county road and that the Casper Mountain roads are not enrolled, so a nonresident may use them only with a multipurpose vehicle plate. State Parks and the county road and bridge office were mapping routes on Casper Mountain and Muddy Mountain, and a commissioner asked for sample agreements from other counties. A truck under 25 can come in only as governed off road equipment, and only if its engine family held an EPA nonroad certificate for that model year. No kei engine family was certified for mini trucks before model year 2010, so a truck built after 31 October 2001 and before model year 2010 has no federal door until its 25th birthday.
