Body notes

  • The layout every Acty since 1977 shares: a midship engine ahead of the rear axle and under the bed, MacPherson front and de Dion rear suspension, front disc brakes. Honda's 1988 release says the Acty was the first cab over kei commercial with a viscous coupling real time 4WD, and the 1990 truck carries it.
  • ATTACK is the farm grade from 1988: real time 4WD plus ultra low and ultra reverse gears and a diff lock coupled directly to the rear drive shaft. From January 1994 it could also be had as a dump.
  • Type prefixes in Honda's own releases: M-HA3 and M-HA4 in March 1990, V-HA3 and V-HA4 by June 1993 after the 1991 emissions change. A 改 after the code marks a special body conversion.
  • Honda's releases never show fuel injection on this truck; the E07A here is carburetted throughout as far as read. PGM-FI reached the Street in October 1993 only.
  • Honda's release index for this generation (the product archive page) lists every change above; no special edition of the truck was found.
  • All 25 years old on 28 October 2026.

The 25 year lane

Earliest units of this chassis turn 25 in this month, counted from production.from. Each truck's own date of manufacture decides, to the day, under 49 USC 30112(b)(9).

The newer lane

EPA certificates.

E07ANo certificate found

No mini truck family of this engine or its size appears in EPA certificate data in any model year.

A truck under 25 can come in only as governed off road equipment, and only if its engine family held an EPA nonroad certificate for that model year. No kei engine family was certified for mini trucks before model year 2010, so a truck built after 31 October 2001 and before model year 2010 has no federal door until its 25th birthday.
