Body notes
- The Super Carry shares the DA16T code, so the code alone never says Carry or Super Carry. No Super Carry is older than May 2018.
- LED headlamps: an option from April 2022 on three grades, standard on every truck from January 2026. HID was an option from February 2014. A halogen DA16T is anything from September 2013 without the option.
- Transmissions over the life: 5MT and 3AT at launch, 5AGS from August 2014, the first 4AT on the August 2021 anniversary truck, 4AT in place of the 3AT from April 2022.
- Turns 25 from September 2038.
The 25 year lane
Turns 25 in September 2038.
Earliest units of this chassis turn 25 in this month, counted from production.from. Each truck's own date of manufacture decides, to the day, under 49 USC 30112(b)(9).
The newer lane
EPA certificates.
R06AUnnamed family 2016 to 2026
Never named. It could sit inside one of the same three unnamed 658 cc families listed under the KF.
A truck under 25 can come in only as governed off road equipment, and only if its engine family held an EPA nonroad certificate for that model year. No kei engine family was certified for mini trucks before model year 2010, so a truck built after 31 October 2001 and before model year 2010 has no federal door until its 25th birthday.
