Kei trucks for the cattle farms of the Ozarks

The Ozarks are cattle country on small farms. Missouri titles a kei truck 25 years or older for the road, and the class for a newer governed truck is not settled. Arkansas opens the road to a kei truck 25 years or older with limits, and a newer governed truck works under the farm rules.

Questions

Asked about the Ozarks.

Can I drive a kei truck on the road in the Ozarks?

Missouri law writes a title class, the Non-USA-Std motor vehicle, for a vehicle not originally made to US safety or emissions standards. The Department of Revenue titles and registers an import declared under Box 1 of Form HS-7, the federal 25 year lane, after a Highway Patrol examination. Arkansas registers a mini truck only as a farm vehicle. Once registered it may use roads posted 55 mph or less that are not interstates or controlled access highways, where it can keep up with the posted speed. Each state page gives the full rule.

What does a kei truck do on an Ozark farm?

Hay and feed, the fence and the water and the steep run between the barn and the back pasture. These counties hold 7,345,117 acres of farm land and 1,989,431 acres of woodland on farms.

What about a newer truck governed to 25 mph?

It enters the country as off road equipment, governed to 25 mph. In Missouri it works farms and private land. In Arkansas it works farms and private land. Each state page has the rest of the rule.
